Today hasn't been too eventful... yet. I went to work this morning, got off at 5:00 and then came home and ate Totino's pizzas with my husband. Then I took a nap for a couple of hours which was probably a bad idea, but I felt like I really needed it in order to get anything else done tonight. I haven't worked on the knitted afghan at all today. I was knitting part of the border last night and casted off and realized that I did a few too many rows. (sigh) Nothing is worse than having to undo your work. Needless to say, I'm not too motivated to do it. I'll do it tomorrow since I don't have to be to work until noon.
I've been slowly accumulating more and more boxes from work so that I can start packing my stuff. I love packing! I love going through all of my things and deciding what is just taking up space and what is worth packing away for the move.
I'm still booking tour dates for my band, Trifecta. We're going to be going through Boise, Portland, Seattle, Eugene, San Francisco, Sacramento, Reno, Salt Lake City, possibly Denver and some where in Missouri. If you have any suggestions where we can book gigs, please please please let me know!

Sixty Work Days Until I Quit My Job!
Every few years I get this uncontrollable urge to uproot myself from my surroundings and start completely fresh in a new place. In my current case, this means moving to a bigger city that's about three and half hours away. It also means leaving my husband alone to defend himself against the quiet of this uneventful little college town.
I'm headed to this new city to help some friends open an all ages music venue, which will hopefully be a rewarding musical experience. My husband is going to stay and finish the next semester because he was offered an internship at his graphic design job. That means we'll be living our own separate adventures for four months.
I have sixty more workdays until I'm officially unemployed and then I'll be going on tour with my band for three weeks. I can hardly wait. I've decided that I have a lot to accomplish before the tour and before I move. One thing that I need to finish is the knitted blanket I made for my sister when she got married. I only had three months to put it together so it wasn't exactly up to my standards when I gave it to her on her wedding day. I took it back a few months later to try and do a better job and accidentally kept it for the last five years. Heh heh... time sure flies.
Anyway, stay tuned as I'm going to be posting my progress with each of my projects and counting down the days until I'm free from the hum drum of my repetitive lifestyle. Woohoo!
